Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Phillips in New York held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Evening Sale Part II, which included this untitled work by Donald Judd. Here, the upper estimate of USD 800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 863,600.00 (€ 791,712.50). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Donald Judd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 9,831,600.00 (€ 8,753,984.51).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Phillips in New York die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Evening Sale Part II durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Donald Judd zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 863.600,00 (€ 791.712,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Donald Judd erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 9.831.600,00 (€ 8.753.984,51).
