Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Duan Jianyu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Art Chicken No. 6 (Lovers) sold for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 40,690.34) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duan Jianyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Duan Jianyu erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit Art Chicken No. 6 (Lovers) für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 40.690,34) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
