Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Landscape 12 by Duan Jianyu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 700,000.00 – 1,500,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 819,000.00 (€ 96,105.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Duan Jianyu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape 12 von Duan Jianyu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 700.000,00 – 1.500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 819.000,00 (€ 96.105,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
