The work Artistic Chicken by Duan Jianyu was sold in the Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2015. It achieved a price of HKD 377,600.00 (€ 43,639.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duan Jianyu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sister No.14 (Diptych) in April 2019 with an auction result of HKD 4,000,000.00 (€ 455,316.49).

Die Arbeit Artistic Chicken von Duan Jianyu wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 377.600,00 (€ 43.639,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duan Jianyu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sister No.14 (Diptych) im April 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.000.000,00 (€ 455.316,49).
