Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duncan Grant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vanessa Bell in a Yellow Shawl 72.7 x 51.5 cm. (28 5/8 x 20 1/4 in.) in November last year with an auction result of GBP 327,900.00 (€ 379,961.23).

Die Arbeit Seated male nude von Duncan Grant kam im März diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.805,00 (€ 3.191,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duncan Grant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vanessa Bell in a Yellow Shawl 72.7 x 51.5 cm. (28 5/8 x 20 1/4 in.) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 327.900,00 (€ 379.961,23).
