Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 3.780,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Edward Steichen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Flatiron im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.840.000,00 (€ 11.469.534,05).
