Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Barakei (Ordeal By Roses), Portraits De Yukio Mishima - 1961-1962 by Eikoh Hosoe was sold in the Photography Bruno Mouron Collection auction at Artcurial in December 2015. The price achieved of EUR 22,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eikoh Hosoe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yayoi Kusama (Imaged Taken In 1964, Printed In 2016), which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Barakei (Ordeal By Roses), Portraits De Yukio Mishima - 1961-1962 von Eikoh Hosoe wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Photography Bruno Mouron Collection bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 22.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eikoh Hosoe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yayoi Kusama (Imaged Taken In 1964, Printed In 2016) beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57) versteigert wurde.
