Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Embrace #60 by Eikoh Hosoe was auctioned at Phillips in London in September 2020. It achieved a price of GBP 3,500.00 (€ 3,859.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eikoh Hosoe achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Yayoi Kusama (Imaged Taken In 1964, Printed In 2016) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 81,600.00 (€ 83,329.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Embrace #60 von Eikoh Hosoe kam im September 2020 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.500,00 (€ 3.859,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eikoh Hosoe erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Yayoi Kusama (Imaged Taken In 1964, Printed In 2016) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 81.600,00 (€ 83.329,57).
