This artwork by Eugène Gabritschevsky achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in May 2021. In the Daniel Cordier, Collection privée auction, the work I: Untitled (From The Series Femmes); Ii: Untitled (From The Series Pliages); Iii: Untitled (From The Series Formes) 3 Works sold for EUR 5,292.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eugène Gabritschevsky; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untitled (3) sold at auction in September 2018 with the realized price of EUR 8,125.00.
