In the PHOTOGRAPHS auction, the work The Parthenon from l'Acropole d'Athènes, 1848-52 changed hands for GBP 3,585.00 (€ 5,378.82) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Eugène Piot have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2014 by the work Intérieur Du Campo Santo', Pise, 1852 'Elévation Intérieure Du Campo Santo', Pise, 1852 'Les Propylées, Acropole D'Athènes', 1852 at EUR 6,250.00.
