Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paysage vaudois, Romanel, 1900 by Félix Vallotton was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2021. The price achieved of CHF 50,400.00 (€ 45,971.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Félix Vallotton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cinq heures in October this year with an auction result of GBP 3,670,000.00 (€ 4,214,179.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paysage vaudois, Romanel, 1900 von Félix Vallotton kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 50.400,00 (€ 45.971,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Félix Vallotton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cinq heures im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.670.000,00 (€ 4.214.179,60).
