Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Toits De Village by Ferdinand Desnos was sold in the Spring Sale auction at Artcurial in Paris in April 2018. The price achieved of EUR 130.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 100.00 – 150.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Desnos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Maisons in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 1,430.00.

Die Arbeit Toits De Village von Ferdinand Desnos wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Spring Sale bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 130,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 100,00 – 150,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Desnos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Maisons im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 1.430,00.
