Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kirschbäume am Genfersee (Cherry trees on Lake Geneva) by Ferdinand Hodler was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2021. Here, the upper estimate of CHF 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CHF 163,800.00 (€ 149,408.05). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ferdinand Hodler achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Montanalandschaft Mit Becs De Bosson Und Vallon De Réchy Montana Landscape With Becs De Bosson And Vallon De Réchy in June 2013 with an auction result of CHF 8,005,000.00 (€ 6,511,061.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kirschbäume am Genfersee (Cherry trees on Lake Geneva) von Ferdinand Hodler kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CHF 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CHF 163.800,00 (€ 149.408,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ferdinand Hodler erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Montanalandschaft Mit Becs De Bosson Und Vallon De Réchy Montana Landscape With Becs De Bosson And Vallon De Réchy im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 8.005.000,00 (€ 6.511.061,49).
