Auction result well in line with expectations

The work 'Contours', 1954-58 by Fernand Fonssagrives was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in May 2017. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,742.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fernand Fonssagrives have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Lisa, 1949 in April 2008 with an auction result of USD 46,600.00 (€ 29,933.20).

Die Arbeit 'Contours', 1954-58 von Fernand Fonssagrives wurde im Mai 2017 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.742,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
