Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Little Budha by Fika Leon was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in February this year. The price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 7,570.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fika Leon achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Family Safari in April last year with an auction result of GBP 88,200.00 (€ 105,175.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Little Budha von Fika Leon kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 7.570,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fika Leon erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Family Safari im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 88.200,00 (€ 105.175,38).
