In January 2015 Christies in London held the auction 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale, which included the work Berner Oberland by Franco Barberis. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,500.00 (€ 3,327.28), 67% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Franco Barberis; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Berner Oberland sold at auction in January 2014 with the realized price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,569.44).

Im Januar 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Berner Oberland von Franco Barberis zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 3.327,28) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Franco Barberis; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Berner Oberland im Januar 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.569,44).
