Auction result well in line with expectations
In January 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Old Master & 19th Century Paintings, Drawings, & Watercolors, which included the work Christ healing the blind man by François Lemoyne. It changed hands for a price of USD 92,500.00 (€ 66,690.70) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 70,000.00 – 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François Lemoyne achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Adam Et Eve in June 2009 with an auction result of EUR 1,296,750.00.

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 92.500,00 (€ 66.690,70) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 70.000,00 – 100.000,00.
