Auction result well in line with expectations
The work " Tête De Profil " by François-Louis Schmied was sold in the “Intérieurs du 20e siècle” Art déco, Prints, Editions, Design & More… auction at Artcurial in Paris in March 2012. The price achieved of EUR 901.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by François-Louis Schmied achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vue Prise D'El Hamman, Figuig in December 2016 with an auction result of EUR 15,600.00.

Die Arbeit " Tête De Profil " von François-Louis Schmied wurde im März 2012 in der Auktion “Intérieurs du 20e siècle” Art déco, Prints, Editions, Design & More… bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 901,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von François-Louis Schmied erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vue Prise D'El Hamman, Figuig im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 15.600,00.
