Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Lakeland Kitchen by Frank Bramley was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2000. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 13,443.44) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frank Bramley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work When the blue evening slowly falls in July 2013 with an auction result of GBP 163,875.00 (€ 187,255.75).

Die Arbeit A Lakeland Kitchen von Frank Bramley kam im November 2000 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 13.443,44) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frank Bramley erzielen.
