Auction result well in line with expectations

The work Nyons by Fred Yates was sold in the Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates auction at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,152.00 (€ 1,322.82) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Yates achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Pair of Still Lifes in October this year with an auction result of GBP 14,080.00 (€ 16,167.75).

Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen

Die Arbeit Nyons von Fred Yates wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Fun 'n FrolicsPaintings From the Estate of Fred Yates bei Bonhams in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.152,00 (€ 1.322,82) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Yates erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Pair of Still Lifes im Oktober diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.080,00 (€ 16.167,75).
