Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Divers, Horst with Model, Paris 1930 by George Hoyningen-Huene was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in New York in October 2018. The price achieved of USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,030.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Other works by George Hoyningen-Huene have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2009 the work Fashion studies, 1939-1942 was auctioned for USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,718.53).
