It achieved a price of GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,904.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 27%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by George Kennethson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spirit Of Weston, which sold at auction in March 2018 for GBP 35,000.00 (€ 39,849.43).
