The work “Oiseau des forêts (Oiseau XVII)”, 1958 by Georges Braque was auctioned at Bruun Rasmussen in August this year. The auction ended at the price of DKK 20,000.00 (€ 2,682.90), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of DKK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georges Braque achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paysage À La Ciotat in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,845,000.00 (€ 12,199,722.82).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit “Oiseau des forêts (Oiseau XVII)”, 1958 von Georges Braque kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von DKK 20.000,00 (€ 2.682,90) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georges Braque erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paysage À La Ciotat im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.845.000,00 (€ 12.199.722,82).
