A top price for Georges Moquay - as previously expected
The work Face À La Crise by Georges Moquay was sold in the Patrimoine de Saint-Germain-des-Prés - Vente caritative auction at Christies in Paris in December 2017. The price achieved of EUR 12,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Face À La Crise is the most expensive artwork by Georges Moquay that we have observed at auctions so far.
