In October 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & British Paintings, which included the work A Bacchanal With Nymphs And Satyrs by Gerard Hoet I. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,547.86), 38% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Gerard Hoet I have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mars paying homage to Venus in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 44,324.70).

Im Oktober 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Masters & British Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Bacchanal With Nymphs And Satyrs von Gerard Hoet I zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.547,86) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gerard Hoet I auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mars paying homage to Venus im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 44.324,70).
