Auction result well in line with expectations
The work C'Est Sûr - 2005 by Gérard Schlosser was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in June 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 10,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 10,400.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gérard Schlosser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work J'Ai Envie De Moules in May 2012 with an auction result of GBP 58,850.00 (€ 73,324.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit C'Est Sûr - 2005 von Gérard Schlosser kam im Juni 2019 bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 10.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 10.400,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gérard Schlosser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit J'Ai Envie De Moules im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 58.850,00 (€ 73.324,51).
