Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gerrit Benner could be acquired at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern and Contemporary Art auction, the work Dutch Landschap changed hands for EUR 39,850.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Gerrit Benner have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in December 2007 by the work Zomers Landschap at EUR 72,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gerrit Benner konnte im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art wechselte die Arbeit Dutch Landschap für EUR 39.850,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gerrit Benner wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Dezember 2007 die Arbeit Zomers Landschap mit EUR 72.250,00.
