This artwork by Giacomo Balla achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2021. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale auction, the work Velocità astratta + paesaggio sold for EUR 181,250.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Giacomo Balla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Automobile In Corsa in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 11,477,000.00 (€ 8,435,249.15).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Giacomo Balla erzielte im November 2021 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Velocità astratta + paesaggio für EUR 181.250,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Giacomo Balla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Automobile In Corsa im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.477.000,00 (€ 8.435.249,15).
