Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gino Severini could be acquired at Christies in Milan in November 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale auction, the work Come le foglie changed hands for EUR 137,500.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gino Severini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Danseuse in June 2008 with an auction result of GBP 15,049,250.00 (€ 19,022,756.57).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gino Severini konnte im November 2021 bei Christies in Mailand für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Evening Sale wechselte die Arbeit Come le foglie für EUR 137.500,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 150.000,00 – 200.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gino Severini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Danseuse im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.049.250,00 (€ 19.022.756,57).
