This work without title by Grace Hartigan was worth USD 75,000.00 (€ 63,216.45) to a buyer in July 2021. This price was achieved in the auction First Open | Post-War & Contemporary Art at Christies in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 15,000.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Grace Hartigan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Early November in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,380,000.00 (€ 1,285,993.85).
