Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Circular Walks, Slaybrook Wood, Kent, 1976 by Hamish Fulton was sold in the Made in Britain auction at Sothebys in London in September 2017. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,418.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hamish Fulton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled: Day 2, Wales England, Summer 1987 in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 20,000.00 (€ 23,601.15).
