The »bidding war« ended at EUR 112,500.00 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hannah Höch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frau und Saturn in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 1,085,000.00 (€ 1,235,612.57).

Die Arbeit „Geometrische Komposition“ („Composition“). von Hannah Höch wurde im Juni 2021 in der Auktion Sommer 2021 - Ausgewählte Werke bei Grisebach versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 112.500,00 und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hannah Höch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frau und Saturn im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.085.000,00 (€ 1.235.612,57).
