Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Harald Frederick Foss could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work “Forblæste træer, Asnæs” changed hands for DKK 8,000.00 (€ 1,073.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 10,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Harald Frederick Foss - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A View from the Dunes, which sold at auction in October 2002 for USD 3,346.00 (€ 3,386.30).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Harald Frederick Foss konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit “Forblæste træer, Asnæs” für DKK 8.000,00 (€ 1.073,19) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 10.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Harald Frederick Foss mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit A View from the Dunes beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für USD 3.346,00 (€ 3.386,30) versteigert wurde.
