Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Haircut, Jean-Louis David', 1974 by Helmut Newton was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,780.00 (€ 4,438.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helmut Newton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Big Nude III" (Variation), Paris in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,340,000.00 (€ 2,180,598.27).

Die Arbeit 'Haircut, Jean-Louis David', 1974 von Helmut Newton wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.780,00 (€ 4.438,08) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
