It achieved a price of GBP 16,380.00 (€ 19,058.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 64%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Helmut Newton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Big Nude III" (Variation), Paris in May last year with an auction result of USD 2,340,000.00 (€ 2,180,598.27).

Die Arbeit 'Nude For Pentax', 1975 von Helmut Newton wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 16.380,00 (€ 19.058,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 64%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Helmut Newton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Big Nude III" (Variation), Paris im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.340.000,00 (€ 2.180.598,27).
