In May 2018 Christies in New York held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work La pergola de la cuisine à Marquayrol, un matin d'automne by Henri Martin. Here, the upper estimate of USD 450,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 492,500.00 (€ 422,022.28). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Henri Martin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work La Joie De Vivre, which sold at auction in May 2012 for USD 1,706,500.00 (€ 1,380,216.76).
