Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Duo Viii', Los Angeles, 1990 by Herb Ritts was sold in the Photographs auction at Sothebys in London in May 2021. The price achieved of GBP 3,528.00 (€ 4,104.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herb Ritts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Versace Dress, Back View, El Mirage in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 220,377.57).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.528,00 (€ 4.104,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden.
