Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Madonna, Tokyo, 1987 by Herb Ritts was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in London in May 2007. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,244.11). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Herb Ritts achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Versace Dress, Back View, El Mirage in May 2015 with an auction result of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 220,377.57).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Madonna, Tokyo, 1987 von Herb Ritts wurde im Mai 2007 in der Auktion Photographs bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.244,11) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Herb Ritts erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Versace Dress, Back View, El Mirage im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 158.500,00 (€ 220.377,57).
