Estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2011 VAN HAM held the auction Photographie, which included the work »Café de Unie« by Hiroshi Sugimoto. Here, the estimate of EUR 8,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 9,675.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hiroshi Sugimoto achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Black Sea, Ozuluce; Yellow Sea, Cheju; Red Sea, Safaga in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 1,888,000.00 (€ 1,403,404.45).
Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2011 führte VAN HAM die Auktion Photographie durch, in der auch die Arbeit »Café de Unie« von Hiroshi Sugimoto zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der Schätzpreis von EUR 8.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 9.675,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hiroshi Sugimoto erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Black Sea, Ozuluce; Yellow Sea, Cheju; Red Sea, Safaga im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.888.000,00 (€ 1.403.404,45).
