This artwork by Hiroyuki Aoyama achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2007. In the Asian Contemporary Art auction, the work Himitsu Kichi & En-nichi sold for HKD 114,000.00 (€ 10,855.13) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 65,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Hiroyuki Aoyama - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sakura, which sold at auction in May 2008 for HKD 319,500.00 (€ 26,303.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hiroyuki Aoyama erzielte im Mai 2007 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Himitsu Kichi & En-nichi für HKD 114.000,00 (€ 10.855,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 65.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Hiroyuki Aoyama mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sakura beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für HKD 319.500,00 (€ 26.303,31) versteigert wurde.
