In October 2014 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Modern Sale, which included the work "Sjöbodar och strand, Långagärde, Koster" by Inge Schiöler. The auction ended at the price of SEK 350,000.00 (€ 37,737.43), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of SEK 300,000.00 – 350,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Inge Schiöler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bay with boathouse and boat, which sold at auction in November 2020 for SEK 900,000.00 (€ 87,981.25).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Oktober 2014 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Modern Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Sjöbodar och strand, Långagärde, Koster" von Inge Schiöler zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 350.000,00 (€ 37.737,43) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 300.000,00 – 350.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Inge Schiöler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bay with boathouse and boat beobachtet, die im November 2020 für SEK 900.000,00 (€ 87.981,25) versteigert wurde.
