Upper estimate price exceeded by 26 %.
This work without title by Izumi Kato was sold in the Contemporary Art | Hong Kong auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in March last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 30,240.00 (€ 3,481.16), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Izumi Kato achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in April this year with an auction result of HKD 1,560,000.00 (€ 1,593,065.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Izumi Kato wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Art | Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 30.240,00 (€ 3.481,16) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Izumi Kato erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.560.000,00 (€ 1.593.065,22).
