In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale in Association with Poly Auction auction, the work Fishing For Steps sold for HKD 4,788,000.00 (€ 532,377.07) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 2,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jadé Fadojutimi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quirk my mannerism, which sold at auction in November this year for USD 1,935,500.00 (€ 1,774,385.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jadé Fadojutimi erzielte im November 2021 bei Phillips in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale in Association with Poly Auction wurde die Arbeit Fishing For Steps für HKD 4.788.000,00 (€ 532.377,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 2.200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jadé Fadojutimi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quirk my mannerism beobachtet, die im November diesen Jahres für USD 1.935.500,00 (€ 1.774.385,77) versteigert wurde.
