Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by James Rielly could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2014 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Girl with blue tits changed hands for USD 1,125.00 (€ 821.77) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Rielly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Random Acts of Kindness in February 2002 with an auction result of GBP 21,737.50 (€ 35,473.45).

Dieses Kunstwerk von James Rielly konnte im Juni 2014 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Girl with blue tits für USD 1.125,00 (€ 821,77) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00.
