Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Yellow Boy by James Rielly for GBP 375.00 (€ 414.87). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by James Rielly achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Random Acts of Kindness in February 2002 with an auction result of GBP 21,737.50 (€ 35,473.45).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Yellow Boy von James Rielly für GBP 375,00 (€ 414,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von James Rielly erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Random Acts of Kindness im Februar 2002 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.737,50 (€ 35.473,45).
