Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in Paris held the auction Art Contemporain Evening Sale / Collection Passion…Passions, which included the work Rui Rui's world by Jaume Plensa. It changed hands for a price of EUR 239,400.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 180,000.00 – 250,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jaume Plensa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Twins I and II in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,130,000.00 (€ 1,025,501.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Paris die Auktion Art Contemporain Evening Sale / Collection Passion…Passions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Rui Rui's world von Jaume Plensa zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 239.400,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 180.000,00 – 250.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jaume Plensa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Twins I and II im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.130.000,00 (€ 1.025.501,41).
