Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Femme se déshabillant by Jean Hélion was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in January 2024. The price achieved of EUR 2,048.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,600.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jean Hélion achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abstraction in November 2015 with an auction result of USD 3,413,000.00 (€ 3,231,395.57).
