Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Art contemporain - Vente du soir, which included the work Vibración pura by Jesús Rafael Soto. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 200,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 214,200.00. Admittedly, works by Jesús Rafael Soto have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vibración Blanca in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,035,000.00 (€ 886,889.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Art contemporain - Vente du soir durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vibración pura von Jesús Rafael Soto zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 200.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 214.200,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jesús Rafael Soto auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vibración Blanca im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.035.000,00 (€ 886.889,46).
