Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale, which included the work Firmament by Jia Aili. The price achieved of HKD 3,200,000.00 (€ 376,573.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 2,800,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jia Aili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Combustion in November this year with an auction result of USD 4,769,000.00 (€ 4,372,020.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Asian Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Firmament von Jia Aili zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 3.200.000,00 (€ 376.573,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 2.800.000,00 – 3.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jia Aili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Combustion im November diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.769.000,00 (€ 4.372.020,54).
