In February last year Phillips in an online auction held the auction My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction, which included this untitled work by Joan Cornellà. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 302,400.00 (€ 34,459.16), 51% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joan Cornellà achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work CCTV (Orange) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 444,000.00 (€ 453,410.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51 % übertroffen
Im Februar letzten Jahres führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion My Kawaii Valentine: Online Auction durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Joan Cornellà zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 302.400,00 (€ 34.459,16) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joan Cornellà erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit CCTV (Orange) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 444.000,00 (€ 453.410,87).
